Costa Cruises provide an international Italian flavor with good entertainment and activities. There are many activities, some with an Italian slant. Just average dining facilities and service.

The Excellent, The Mediocre, and The Bad:

The Excellent

• international flavor (Italian)
• lots of activities
• fun environment and good time atmosphere
• 10% to 20% European passengers usually
• private island (Catalina Island) available on eastern Caribbean cruise
• reasonably flexible on the dress code, although some formal dress nights are suggested

The Mediocre

• average food although pasta dishes are OK
• just average service, no aim to please
• tipping added automatically to your bill, although you can adjust it up or down

The Bad

• not too eager on the service
